Sweetwater Baking Company is tucked away in the Blue Ridge Mountains, where the waters flow with sweet purity. We specialize in natural leavened (sourdough) breads, granola, biscotti, cookies and our latest creation; a variety of energy bars. Our original recipes are uniquely created and perfected over the years. We use organic ingredients and bake with love in all of our products.
Wood Fire Baked Bread
Our feeling is that a mere recipe comes to life when its character has excellent rapport with the cook by combining the highest quality ingredients with attention to nuance. We make available to you products free from chemicals and preservatives but full of devotion and nutrition.
We are stewards of our land, keepers of its tradition and purity. All of the wood that we harvest comes from standing dead or fallen trees. The water is pure from a well deep beneath all this beauty. All the elements are in balance together, creating a great baked good.
